Eye Adds (for sale) |
The October issue will be posted out in the first week. There is a supplement with this issue. Our editorial comments on the recent adverse publicity received by the KC, hereby christened the "Ron & Jeff" show. Regardless of smart editing and out of context remarks the KC's position was done no favours by poor representation and an overly complacent attitude. Will Crufts be affected? The 25 day rule will come into being next year but is it as straightforward as it may look. We pose several questions but not necessarily all the answers! Lee Windeatt continues in My name is Lee. "So
is agility where ex athletes go to die? Like the Elephants graveyard but
for sports stars. Being a sport, ok officially it isn’t a sport
in this country but being a sport that requires some degree of athleticism,
well at least it benefits one on some courses to be able to run fast or
be a bit nimble. It isn’t then surprising that we have some retired
superstars from previous sports having a go at agility. Lee also
tackles road rage, the next generation and of course floats a few more
rumours. most of which he starts! The British Open (Large) is reviewed in full with a complete scoreboard and course details. Also some team pictures. The Scottish Dog of the Year final is also featured. The middle section has all the usual points and tables. Show results are featured in our large supplement. Peter Elms was a spectator at the European Open and gives an interesting and even-handed account of the travel arrangements, location etc; Mary Ann provides answers for some agility dilemnas in her Questions and Answers feature. The show diary lists remaining 2008 and some 2009 shows.
